A wind-driven wildfire in japanese Washington state had destroyed at the very least 185 buildings, closed a serious freeway and left one individual lifeless over the weekend.

She added that the blaze burned via the south facet of the city after which jumped Interstate 90 on Friday evening, forcing its closure. The key east-west thoroughfare remained closed in each instructions Saturday morning.
There was one confirmed fatality related to the hearth, Hoygaard mentioned. Additional particulars weren’t instantly launched.
